OUR VISION

To see lives transformed by the power of the Gospel—calling people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, equipping them through the Word, and sending them out to make disciples in their communities and to the ends of the earth.

Beyond the ordinary of Christ:

that phrase has a poetic, almost mysterious quality to it. It invites a deeper look into the richness of who Jesus is, beyond the surface-level understanding many might hold. It could open up into several spiritual reflections or themes,

1. The Mystery of Christ

“Great indeed, we confess, is the mystery of godliness: He was manifested in the flesh...” (1 Timothy 3:16)

Christ is not just a historical figure or a moral teacher—He is the incarnation of God Himself. To go beyond the ordinary means to move past familiar stories and delve into the mystery of His divinity, His incarnation, and His eternal nature.

2. Intimacy Over Information

Many people know about Christ, but not all know Him personally. Going beyond the ordinary could mean:

  • Moving from religion to relationship

  • From routine devotions to intimate communion

  • From head knowledge to heart transformation

3. The Radical Way of Jesus

His teachings were anything but ordinary:

  • Love your enemies

  • Bless those who persecute you

  • The last shall be first

Following Him calls us to a life that's radical, sacrificial, and counter-cultural.

4. The Glory of the Resurrected Christ

“His face was like the sun shining in full strength...” (Revelation 1:16)

When John saw the glorified Christ, he fell at His feet "as though dead." There is nothing ordinary about the risen Lord. If we only think of Him as gentle and meek, we may miss the awe-inspiring majesty He now bears.

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18 (NIV)

It’s easy to say we care. It’s easy to promise prayers, to express sympathy, or to speak of love. But Scripture calls us deeper: not just to say love, but to show love. Serving others with action means showing up when it’s inconvenient, giving when it stretches us, listening when we’re tired, and stepping in when no one else will. It’s putting hands and feet to our faith. Jesus modeled this for us—He didn’t just talk about love, He touched the untouchable, fed the hungry, washed feet, and gave His life.
